A missed opportunity and a typical Benko win
Κλείνουμε σήμερα την αναφορά μας στις παρτίδες του Γιάννη Παπαγεωργίου από το Γάζι με μία χαμένη ευκαιρία στον προτελευταίο γύρο και μία τυπική νίκη (για το Benko Gambit) στον τελευταίο. Και οι δύο αντίπαλοι του Γιάννη ήταν προετοιμασμένοι, αφού είχε χάσει σε προηγούμενο γύρο μία Caro-Kann, οπότε πολύ σωστά αποφάσισε να παίξει μία άλλη βαριάντα στο ίδιο άνοιγμα και όχι την βαριάντα προώθησης, ενώ στον τελευταίο γύρο ο αντίπαλός του επαναλαμβάνει την κλειστή βαριάντα στο Μπένκο με 5.β6, ωστόσο ο Γιάννης είναι πολύ έμπειρος στα συστήματα αυτά και καταφέρνει να εκμεταλλευθεί τις ανακρίβειες του αντιπάλου του.
