Tournament Game - Topalov vs Nakamura Singuefield Cup 2014

Ο Nakamura βυθίστηκε σε σκέψεις αρκετές φορές κατά της διάρκεια της χθεσινής του παρτίδας με τον Topalov, αλλά σε καμία στιγμή δεν μπόρεσε να βρει το χτύπημα στο ζ2! Μία αρκετά περίπλοκη θέση στην οποία κέρδισε μάλλον ο πιο τυχερός. Βλέπουμε την παρτίδα μετά την 19η κίνηση του λευκού, η οποία ανοίγει τους ασκούς του Αιόλου!

Ruy Lopez or just another King's Indian defence?

Ένας τρόπος να μελετήσει κανείς τα ανοίγματα είναι με συγκεκριμένες βαριάντες π.χ. να μελετήσει την Ισπανική παρτίδα, την Ιταλική κ.ο.κ. Ένας δεύτερος είναι να ψάξει να βρει τυπικές πιονοδομές, οι οποίες μοιάζουν μεταξύ τους, οπότε και τα σχέδια είναι κοινά, άσχετο αν πρόκειται για τελείως διαφορετικά ανοίγματα. Στο δεύτερο γύρο του Singuefield cup είχαμε ένα παράδειγμα που δείχνει την αξία της δεύτερης προσέγγισης. 

Ο λευκός (H. Nakamura) ξεκίνησε με το Ruy Lopez, ενώ ο μαύρος (M. Carlsen) διάλεξε μία βαριάντα που οδηγεί σε παιχνίδι που μοιάζει πολύ με την Ινδική του βασιλιά. Η διαφορά είναι ότι δεν είχε στη διάθεσή του τον λευκοτετράγωνο αξιωματικό, ένα σημαντικό κομμάτι για την επιτυχία των σχεδίων του μαύρου. Επομένως, έπρεπε αρχικά να υιοθετήσει μία πιο "κεντρική" στρατηγική (δες π.χ. τη διάσπαση με ...c6) και στη συνέχεια, εξαιτίας της χειρότερης πιονοδομής που είχε να προσπαθεί να δημιουργήσει παιχνίδι πάνω στον αντίπαλο βασιλιά. Η παρτίδα έληξε ισοπαλία με τον Carlsen να παίζει ακόμη μία φορά εξαιρετικά, έστω κι αν και αυτή τη φορά χρειάστηκε να υπερασπιστεί τη θέση του!
